I loved how my room had this amazing rainfall shower that almost felt like a spa, and the kettle with fun condiments was a nice touch for my morning coffee! The hotel had great relaxation spots with a cozy lounge and a lovely outdoor deck. Just a heads up, the mirror was a bit high in the bathroom, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all! 😊

Checked in and found myself in a tiny, hot room without windows. My dad discovered a baby leech on his towel, which was pretty wild. Staff seemed a bit clueless, and we got no proper apology. At least the bar area had a nice vibe, but overall it was a pretty sketchy stay.

When a leech was found on a towel, the dismissive reaction from staff left much to be desired, highlighting inadequate service and care.

I loved the central location, just a short stroll to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. The room was comfortable and spacious, and I appreciated the helpful staff who provided great local dining recommendations. the noise from the street at night was a bit disruptive.

Breakfast options were decent, but the Eggs Benedict I ordered lacked enough Hollandaise. Also noticed some cleanliness issues, particularly in the shower area. The noise from the alley was bothersome at night due to partying. Still, the hotel had a good overall vibe, and I would consider coming back.

The Inn Place is a foodie’s paradise! Just around the corner, I stumbled upon Angels with Bagpipes—those Scottish dishes had me drooling. Then there's the cozy bar in the hotel for a nightcap. perfect vibes all around. Close to the Edinburgh Press Club made the night even more fun!
